Detailed below is what you could expect the process to be like should you choose us to build your website.
Initial Contact
Usually made by the client, will be followed up by a phone call from us to obtain a rough idea of want they are after, and to arrange the next stage below. A rough ball park figure is sometimes also provided at this point if the client asks, as this can help them in planning a budget for the project.
New Client Meeting
A Tippabush representative will then come to a venue, date and time arranged in the initial contact above to hold a meeting with the client and to go through a new client survey to obtain in-depth details about how they want the website to look and operate.
Provision of Quote
Using information gained in the above meeting Tippabush will then decide on a price and put a detailed quote document together. We prefer to come out and meet the client again to deliver the quote and talk them through it making sure they understand each part of the document. A deposit is then payable on acceptance of order.
Design Layout
After any photography required has been sourced, we shall then design your website based on information you gave us in the meeting. This is done to give you a overall idea of the 'look and feel' of the website. We will make any changes you request to the design until you are happy with the outcome. Another payment is then due on acceptance of design layout.
Website Development
We will then turn the original design image into a website and add the other pages and working navigation system to it. At this point we will require any content that you want to go on the site, such as company details, description of products etc. We can also assist in the writing of content if this is an area you are not sure about. During this stage web hosting and domain names will be setup (if with us) and we constantly test-as-we-develop to ensure there are no errors. Another payment is then due on satisfactory completion of available content.
Completion and Going Live
After you have reviewed the website and made sure it is exactly as you wished it to be be, and any final content has been added (we often find that clients need extra time to get the last bits of content together), we will then set the site live to the world, and sign off the project. Assistance will be given in setting up to receive email, and with online shops, a userguide and training given on how to update the shop. We will then sign off the project at which point the final payment is due.
